Gulfood 2026 Day 1
The USDA Market briefing with Dubai Municipality and key importers.
The Focused Trade mission trip around key supermarkets in the region, namely Carrefour, Lulu and Spinneys. An opportunity for our key importers to see and study how their products would be displayed on the shelves in the different locations.
Three of Food Export Northeast and Midwest VIP Board members also accompanied the key importers on their tour.

The opening Day of Gulfood 2026 saw some interesting high ranking visitors to the Expo Site. His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum walked his way through the North and South Pavillions much to the delight of the exhibitors.
The Charge d'Affaires Eric Gaudiosi joined the US companies as well, at the opening of Gulfood 2026 to highlight the strength of American agriculture food and trade. He visited the USA Pavillion which featured a number of US companies to celebrate America's 250th birthday. He is pictured here visiting some of Food Export Northeast and Midwest USA booths, much to the delight of the Exhibitors.

Mr. Brendan Wilson visited all suppliers from the Midwest and Northeast spending time with them to learn about their experiences at home in the USA and at Gulfood, along with Mr. Douglas Goerhing Commissioner of North Dakota and Mr. Costello, Director, Illinois.
